Thanks to your generosity, AcademySTAY raised $11,060 in just one day, surpassing our fundraising goal. Two anonymous donors contributed matching gifts of $2,500 each, doubling your impact and helping us reach our goal with incredible momentum.

But this campaign wasn’t just about reaching a number. It was about opening more doors for young adults who need a safe place to land.

What That Means

Right now, 10 newly renovated apartments are nearly ready. This May, 20 young people who have aged out of foster care will move in. Because of your support, they won’t just be getting a roof over their heads. They’ll be entering a home base for pursuing education, learning life skills, and building a future with stability and support.

At AcademySTAY, we believe no one should enter adulthood alone. Yet each year, about 170 young people in Sacramento age out of foster care without the safety net most of us take for granted.
